Christmas is 40 days away! There are SO many uses for vinyl decals so here are some fun ways to personalize a gift for someone this year and everything (except the shirts) are under $10 for the whole custom gift! I have included links for everything I mention to make your shopping easier! Anything underlined has the links, so click away!
So many people have told me to sell items that are already made on my shop, but honestly it is so much cheaper for customers to buy them on their own and then just use my decals. Here are some tips on how you can save money by applying the decals yourself and I will even send you a video link to help!
First up, my most popular item...water bottle decals! These are so fun and always turn out super cute. Most people buy 4-6 inch decals which are either $4, $5, or $6 and put them on their Hydro Flasks or slm bottles, but if you are looking for a cheap gift...go to Walmart! They have these clear water bottles (pictured) for literally $0.98. That is a personalized gift for only $5 if you do a 4 inch decal!
Another super popular item is a decal for your wine glass! Most people buy a 3 or 4 inch decal for these. Again, this is a very cheap gift with Walmart coming in handy with the $0.98 wine glass. Dollar Tree also has them too! If you do a 3 inch name decal and buy a wine glass, you are at $4 for a custom gift! I also have had several people buy decals in bulk for parties on the glasses!
Next up we have customized white boards! Walmart strikes again with having these cute boards for $2! I like to put a 7 inch decal ($7) on these to make the wording go all the way across. This a a fun gift under $10 that kids (or adults, let's be real) will love for Christmas! Grocery lists, chore charts, reminders, message board, menus and so many ways to use these cuties!
Christmas time is here so decorating with personalized ornaments is SO fun! I really wanted to add these to my shop, but shipping them was a hassle tbh. Just go order a ton on Amazon to make yourself and it comes out to be about $1 per ornament! This girl ordered 3 inch Harry Potter decals and put papers inside. So cute and for $1 + $3, you have a fun $4 gift or decoration for your home!
Another thing you can customize for yourself (or your bff or mother-in-law) are decals to decorate your kitchen! You might be having people over for the holidays, so why not make you kitchen look great. Two decals at 4 inches each are only $8!
If you know someone who is engaged or newly married, they are probably excited about their new last name! You can order a custom monogram starting at $3 and get a $1 mug at Dollar Tree for a super cute personalized gift for $4! (Walmart mugs are here for $2).
Tumblers can make a great gift! You can get them at Walmart for $6 (camping section for the win) and put a 4 inch decal on to make it right at $10!
Monograms and Greek letters are a huge hit for car stickers! Both starting at $3, you can customize these with any color you want and make the perfect gift. Also, super easy to mail to people far away!
I love organizing all of my stuff, and vinyl decals make it super easy to do! Vinyl decals are great for organizing food buckets in your pantry, wrapping paper boxes, kid’s toy bins and even closet organization! Decals start at $3 and plastic bins at Walmart are $1! Get your friends custom buckets for so many things! $4 total for this gift.
I recently added a custom 5x3 Bible Verse decal on my shop and this is PERFECT for someone's mirror or put in a photo frame! The verses are $9 each and surely they already have a bathroom mirror ;)
TEACHER GIFTS! A ton of these items would be perfect for teachers, and they also might love a custom clear clip-board! Go buy a fun clip board ($14 for a 6 pack) and buy a 5 inch decal with their name! About $7 per custom clip-board, what a steal for all your child's teachers!
Teachers also might love a fun makeup bag with their name on it - Amazon winning again with a cute marble makeup bag for $7! Get a $3 decal and you are all set! $10 total for this idea.
Students and teachers, anyone and everyone would always loveeee a personalized notebook! Go buy two on Amazon for $7 ($3.50 each!) and get some decals for $3 or $4 for a $7 gift.
IRON-ON DECALS!
Iron on decals are awesome and super easy to apply! I suggest doing iron on decals for small areas such as a tea towel, pillow case or a bandanna. I just looked up tea towels and target has a pack for $4 for 4 tea towels! Order a $3 iron-on decal to make the perfect gift at $4/custom towel.
A set of 2 pillow cases is $6 on Amazon, and longer iron-on decals can be $7, so this is an easy $10 gift!
Your dog or granddog (yes this is a thing for sure) might want to feel festive to during this holiday season (or football season), so order $3 iron on decal and go to Hobby lobby and buy a $1 bandanna for a total of $4 to have a festive pup!
Lastly, Custom T-Shirts are a huge hit! I used to use an iron for my vinyl onto a T-shirt, but the quality just wasn’t great. I suggest ordering T-shirts through me instead of ordering the iron-on decal and getting the T-shirt yourself. I just got a new shirt heat press so I can do shirts for a total of $20 (shipping is already included in price!). These are also great if you know someone getting engaged soon...get them a “future Mrs.” shirt!
